I went with our friend, Charia, from Cambodia to Sentosa Island this week. The construction of huge hotels & casinos continues along with other very expensive places. It has been a couple years since I visited and I was sure disappointed. Not as pleasing to the eye anymore because it just looks like another big city with huge buildings dwarfing the beauty of the island. I did not take many pic's but here are a few.

The Merlion is the same but doesn't look so big anymore with all the buildings nearby.
The beach area. It was a very hot day but the clouds gave us a little shelter so we could walk along here for a few minutes
On the express train ride back across to Singapore I took this picture of the shipping area with all the crates. The picture doesn't show the thousands of crates along this area but it is one of the largest in the world.

You are right it has changed sooo much. I liked it better more open also. We had so much fun with you guys roaming around the island. Remember how Kadence fell asleep on you while you walked him along the beach. I still think that was so precious ! Love you mom.
