Travel Time...

I haven't posted for a few days so decided I better update you before another week sneaks by.
Monday morning Larry and I are leaving for Phnom Penh, Cambodia. We will spend a week there helping at the Media Center and maybe some other projects too. It is always a special time to be there with the staff God has blessed us with. Thank you for praying for us during this time. I will have a travel laptop with me but...we will see if I can get connected.

I have been memorizing a verse every two weeks and it has been so good for me. Sometimes I think I just can't remember but as I commit these verses to the Lord and meditate and think of them throughout the day....guess what....I am keeping them in my heart!

Romans 15:4-6 is the scripture I have been working on. Verse 6 is inscribed in our wedding bands and has always been special to me.

"For everything that was written in former times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and through encouragement of the scriptures we may have hope. Now may the God of endurance and comfort give you unity with one another in accordance with Christ Jesus, so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Thank you Jesus for your loving care each day even in the little things.

Be encouraged as you spend time with our Lord in the Word and in prayer.

Hi Angela
Just a note back to you...I just came from the Garbage Dump ministry and what a joy...I can tell you the Lord is certainly working in the hearts of those children and the parents. I had the joy of seeing a tiny newborn only 4 days old that was born at the center and the team has helped this family along with many others. The children come for school and they are precious from 5 years to 10 year olds. After Khmer classes then they get English class. Then they all get showers and I had fun helping the staff with all this. I could go on but to answer your question. yes they need funds because the Tree of Life funding has stopped from a church in CA that was sponsoring them. It is sad they just called and said no more money. I hope we can come along side and give each month to help them. Love you much
