Happy Birthday Steven!
Twenty-seven years ago today God blessed us when you were born. Now we reflect back on the precious memories we have made together and look forward to what the Lord has for each of us in the days ahead. May you always have a desire to honor the Lord with your life and bring him glory.
We love you much and look forward to seeing you and your family soon.

In the clouds...

I took this picture from our office room where I can see the planes take off from the airport. I thought Ellie, Kadence and Cash would like to see the airplane.
Here is grandpa's airplane in the clouds as he departed for the Philippines. Please pray for him as he spends time there with the staff this week.

Loo Awards ~ Only in Singapore!

Have you ever heard of this award before? I thought it was pretty funny.

When I saw this sign I just could not resist taking a picture so you could see for yourself. I didn't think you would believe me without the evidence. And no, I am not going to enter the contest:)
I couldn't remember if I showed you the apartment we have been in now for just over a year.
Here I am in our office room...with my new laptop and our personal computer. I like having the laptop to do everything pertaining to the ministry now. Notice we even have a "deer mount" on the wall.

This is our apartment building. We are on the top floor. The window on the far right is our office and the small one the bathroom and then the guest bedroom. We can look out to the bus stop from these rooms. Actually it is very convenient for us to go by bus from here and then can catch the train just a few stops away.

Fish and more fish...

In case you are feeling a bit stressed...the fish spa might be just the thing for you!
The other day while in a shopping mall we came across this guy sitting so peacefully with his feet in a pool filled with tiny fish. The fish are nibling at his feet and legs which causes "some people" ...not me...to relax. The place was actually called "The Fish Spa". Maybe I am just a bit ignorant regarding some of these so called "therapies" but this one is not for me. How could you relax knowing something was eating away at your skin? The gentleman was kind enough to allow me to take his picture so I just had to post it for you to see. I can just imagine my grandkids having a great time playing in their with the tiny fish and hopefully not trying some for an afternoon snack!

So Blessed!!!

Beautiful roses from Larry!

Beautiful orchid arrangement from the Craig's & Pitsch's!
Thank you all so much.

God has blessed me in many ways throughout my life but today I want to thank Him especially for the wonderful godly husband He has given me. Today we celebrate 31 years of marriage and I am so thankful for each day the Lord has given us together.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails..." 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a

"Larry, thank you for your unconditional love for me. You are my best friend and I love you dearly."

The wonder of His creation...

This beautiful lily caught my attention as we were walking home from church this morning. It was the only flower blooming surrounded by a lot of green foliage. There was a slight breeze blowing the petals and I like how it gives the blur effect. Take time today and enjoy the beauty of God's creation around you and give Him the praise and glory.

Happy 4th of July!

Well, it is dark right now in Singapore but we are not going to see any fireworks going off! To add a touch of festivity to our day I made a cheese cake and put blueberries and strawberries on it. So we enjoyed eating our "red/white/& blue".

The 4th of July was always a fun time for us as a family to spend the day together and then go and watch a beautiful display of fireworks or set up our own show at our home for the whole neighborhood. I was usually the one running to escape the flying whirly birds or whatever they were called. I also recall a few of those tanks coming at me at a fast pace too. I think now it was preplanned for some added entertainment:). In any case we miss you guys immensely and hold each of you close to our hearts. Hope you are able to start some precious memories with your kids now so one day they can look back and remember how much fun it was to spend time together.
Happy 4th of July!

Looking back...

I have spent the last several days scanning several hundred old photographs so I can save them and maybe make photo books for each of our kids. It has been a lot of work but so fun too. These two were some of the oldest and I thought they were really nice.
